Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s chief of staff has reportedly quit after only three months in the position.

“Josh Kettler is no longer working for them,” a source in California, where Harry and Markle live, told the Daily Mail on Monday.

The outlet reported that Kettler was set to accompany the couple on their four-day “quasi-royal tour” of Colombia, which begins Thursday.

A reason for his “sudden” departure was not given, and reps for Harry, 39, and Markle, 43, did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex seem to have had a difficult time retaining staff.

In fact, the Daily Mail claims they have lost at least 18 employees since they married in 2018, with nine or more leaving after the duo moved to California in 2020.

“What may be most telling is that the entire time I worked there, I don’t think I heard a single current or former employee on their staff say they would take the job again if given the chance,” a former staffer told the outlet.

“These aren’t employees they had just found off the streets,” the ex-employee continued. “Many of them are people who had previously excelled working for demanding bosses in high-performance companies and environments.”

Kettler, who is believed to be American, previously worked for Cognixion, a medical equipment manufacturer.

When he was hired to be the chief of the Sussexes’ staff earlier this year, Kettler was regarded as the perfect man to “guide” Harry “through his next phase.”

In May, Kettler was a key figure on the prince’s trip to London to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

He also played a pivotal role on the royals’ three-day tour of Nigeria later that month.
