Prince Harry’s pals claim King Charles won’t answer the Duke’s calls or respond to any of his letters following their brief meeting earlier this year.

Sources close to Harry claim the Duke gets the message “unavailable right now” when he tries to call his father or reach out about his health.

One of the Duke’s friends told People magazine: “He gets ‘unavailable right now’. His calls go unanswered.

He has tried to reach out about the King’s health, but those calls go unanswered too.”

Harry briefly met with King Charles after the monarch revealed he was battling cancer.

Amid the estrangement between father and son, Harry remains deeply concerned for the safety of his wife and their children in the UK – and.

According to sources, has repeatedly asked his father for help.

A royal insider told the publication: “Harry is frightened and feels the only person who can do anything about it is his father.

“Harry is determined to protect his own family at all costs.”

During the ITV documentary ‘Tabloids on Trail’, which aired earlier this month, Harry cited his reason for not wanting to bring his wife, Meghan Markle and their children, five-year-old Prince Archie and three-year-old Princess Lilibet to the UK.

The father of two cited “genuine concerns” for their safety and claimed that “all it takes is one lone actor”.

The issue over Harry’s security battle created, according to PEOPLE, an “impenetrable wall” between Harry and the King.

The friend claimed that the King has now opted for “complete silence”, with the monarch’s own fears coming to the surface.

As reported by the publication, the insider added: “Charles’ fear is a repeat of the past. When his wife divorced the institution, she took over the headlines, overshadowed his work and became a global superstar. Seeing his son leave with his wife was not part of the plan.”
