In the midst of ongoing legal battles and accusations,

a Hollywood intimacy coordinator has shared her professional insights into a controversial video featuring Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni from the set of *It Ends With Us*.

The clip, which was first released by *DailyMail.com*, shows the two actors engaging in a dance scene,

raising eyebrows due to the tension between them, despite appearing friendly and jovial at first glance.

The situation has led to a public back-and-forth, with Lively accusing Baldoni of sexual harassment during filming, while Baldoni maintains his innocence.

Mia Schachter, an intimacy coordinator who has worked on projects such as *Lessons in Chemistry* and *Insecure*, analyzed the footage and weighed in on the situation, offering her expert opinion on the dynamics at play.

Schachter noted that in her view, the video provides evidence that Lively was made to feel uncomfortable by Baldoni’s behavior. In particular, Schachter pointed to moments in the video where Baldoni appears to attempt to kiss Lively, despite the actress pulling away. The scene, which was supposed to be a romantic dance between their characters, included no script directive for any kissing. According to Schachter, this lack of communication and the actor’s actions, which were not discussed beforehand, raised serious concerns.

Schachter’s analysis also highlighted a critical issue: the absence of an intimacy coordinator on set. She argued that if one had been present, they would have immediately intervened to ensure that the actors’ boundaries were respected. “There was no discussion or consent about the kiss, and Baldoni just went for it,” Schachter explained. She also criticized Baldoni’s failure to address Lively’s comfort level, adding that it was particularly troubling that he persisted in his actions after Lively attempted to pull away.

The tension between the actors is further compounded by the fact that Lively’s legal team claims that the entire situation was not part of the script. They argue that the footage proves Lively was not merely acting, but rather genuinely uncomfortable as Baldoni repeatedly leaned in and made unsolicited physical advances. Lively’s lawyers have described his actions as a form of harassment and have filed lawsuits in an attempt to hold him accountable for the alleged misconduct.

On the other hand, Baldoni’s camp maintains that the video proves their interactions were friendly and that there was no malintent. They argue that the video, which includes behind-the-scenes footage, shows a playful and casual environment on set, suggesting that any discomfort Lively may have felt was not part of the recorded moments. His legal team also points out that Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, have used their celebrity status to generate negative press about Baldoni, claiming that this has damaged his career.

The situation has escalated with both parties filing lawsuits against each other. Lively and Reynolds have requested a protective order to stop Baldoni’s legal team from making public statements that they argue could prejudice the case. Meanwhile, Baldoni has countered with his own defamation suit, claiming that Lively’s public statements and the media’s portrayal of the incident have caused him significant harm.

Schachter’s comments bring a layer of professionalism to the ongoing dispute, emphasizing the importance of clear communication and consent on set. Intimacy coordinators are specifically trained to ensure that all actors are comfortable with the physical scenes they perform, and Schachter’s analysis suggests that the absence of such a coordinator contributed to the controversy.

This clash on the set of *It Ends With Us* has not only sparked a heated legal battle but also reignited conversations about consent, professionalism, and power dynamics in the entertainment industry. The dispute between Lively and Baldoni continues to unfold, with both sides offering differing perspectives on what transpired. As the legal proceedings advance, it remains to be seen how this high-profile case will impact the industry’s approach to on-set behavior and the importance of having proper safeguards in place to protect actors.
