Katie Price has been given a “serious wake-up call” that her latest court appearance is her “last chance”.
The mum-of-five was arrested last week and put before a judge after skipping a court appearance to visit Turkey to get some plastic surgery.
Katie, whose Mucky Mansion property was recently sold for £1.5m following her eviction for not meeting mortgage payments, has been warned there ‘aren’t any more excuses’.
A source told OK!: “Katie has been given her last chance now, the judge in court made that very clear.
“There aren’t any more excuses left for her and she knows that now, it’s been a real wake-up call and really worrying for her”.
They added: “The tide has turned on her. The bankruptcy stuff has been going on for a long time, but this time has been really scary.
Being arrested at an airport and being spoken to by the judge took it up a level. She knows she’s on her last chance now. Even for Katie, who has dealt with a lot in the past, that was a real shock.”
Katie was whisked away by police when she landed at Heathrow Airport last week with boyfriend JJ Slater and eldest son Harvey.
The arrest came after the 46-year-old had failed to attend court over her £760,000 bankruptcy case and has been warned by by a judge to be their for her next court date on August 27.
The source claimed Katie “burst into tears” after being remanded, adding: ”Hopefully this is a sign the severity of her current situation is actually sinking in – not just giving lip service, going through the motions like a robot.
“Her nine lives are up. She knows she needs to start working with and respecting the bankruptcy process and start living within her means. She needs to behave like someone going through bankruptcy – and do everything that’s required of her.”
After what was her sixth facelift surgery, Katie has no plans to stop her cosmetic surgery. She recently said: “I’m not content now, I’m having more surgery next week. My mum says I’ve got body dysmorphia.
“I don’t ever look in the mirror and think I look good. I never have done. So, there’s obviously an underlying issue.”
