Kim Kardashian has been left deeply unsettled as her ex-husband, Kanye West, has drawn

their 11-year-old daughter, North, into the ongoing controversy surrounding music mogul Diddy. The situation has escalated after Kanye released a new track on X, titled “LONELY ROADS STILL GO TO SUNSHINE,” which appears to feature Diddy, Diddy’s son Christian “King” Combs, and North herself.

The song begins with what sounds like Diddy’s voice thanking Kanye for his support,

lamenting that no one else has reached out to him while he remains in jail awaiting trial on serious charges, including sex trafficking. Kanye, in response, calls Diddy a father figure, expressing admiration for him even before they had met personally. North makes a brief but noticeable contribution to the song, rapping, “When you see me shining, then you see the light,” while Christian Combs delivers his own verse.

A source exclusively revealed to DailyMail.com that Kardashian took immediate legal action to prevent the track from being released and is currently working to have it removed from X. According to insiders, North recently spent time in the studio with Kanye—their first visit in weeks—where she recorded vocals for the track, via TMZ. Kanye reportedly convinced her that participating in the song would contribute to the relaunch of his Sunday Service gospel choir.

Shortly before the track’s release, Kanye posted—and then deleted—screenshots of an alleged heated text exchange with Kardashian. In the conversation, he appeared to threaten a “war” with her over North’s involvement in the song. The messages suggest that Kim had legal control over North’s name and was attempting to prevent their daughter from being featured on a track with Diddy, sparking an angry reaction from Kanye. One of his messages read: “I’m never speaking with you again,” alongside what appeared to be a legal document containing the phrase “participation in this project,” presumably referring to the controversial song.

Kardashian reportedly responded, reminding Kanye that he had previously agreed to her trademarking North’s name, telling him, “I asked you at the time if I can trademark her name. You said yes. When she’s 18, it goes to her.” She then urged him to stop, emphasizing that she had sent legal paperwork to prevent North’s involvement in the Diddy track “to protect her.”

Further messages allegedly show Kim explaining: “One person has to trademark! We agreed when they were born that I would get all of our kids’ names and trademarks so no one else would take them.” Kanye, however, was seemingly unmoved and fired back: “Amend it, or I’m going to war. And neither of us will recover from the public fallout.” He then issued a chilling remark: “You’re going to have to kill me.”

In response to the song’s release, a source told DailyMail.com that Kardashian is determined to shield her children from what she perceives as Kanye’s toxic influence. “She will do whatever it takes to protect her kids from the hateful speech that Kanye continues to spur at this time,” the insider revealed. Furthermore, Kardashian has allegedly sought legal intervention, requesting a judge to restrict Kanye’s access to their children in order to prevent them from being exposed to such situations in the future.

An emergency hearing reportedly took place, which Kanye did not attend. During the proceedings, he allegedly agreed to delay the track’s official release. However, with the song now circulating online, it appears that the conflict between Kim and Kanye has reached new levels of intensity.

Adding to the controversy, Kanye recently announced plans to revive his Sunday Service gospel choir, but with an unusual stipulation. On Thursday, the rapper took to Instagram to reveal auditions for male singers in Los Angeles, inviting participants—including children as young as five—to try out for the choir he first launched in 2019. However, those who are selected must meet a striking requirement: a uniform look. While a shaved head is not necessary for the audition itself, Kanye declared that it would be mandatory for anyone officially joining the choir.

Kim is reportedly furious over North’s continued exposure to Kanye’s erratic decisions and public scandals. She is said to be particularly worried about North’s involvement in this latest track due to Diddy’s current legal troubles, which include federal sex trafficking allegations. Insiders claim that she has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to distance North from the situation.

Shortly before dropping the song, Kanye hinted at the brewing conflict between him and Kim by sharing a cryptic message on social media: “We’re going to war.” With the track now out, it seems that battle has officially begun.
