Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, has initiated the search for a new school for her eldest son, Prince George.
As second in line to the British throne, the 11-year-old prince’s education is of great public interest,
and Kate has been seen touring a variety of institutions to find the right fit for her son’s next chapter.
The Princess, 43, has been making visits to several schools, including her own alma mater, Marlborough College in Wiltshire, and other institutions across London.

that not only offers an excellent academic program but also supports George’s growth outside the classroom.
According to *Hello! Magazine*, Kate’s visit to Marlborough College was part of a broader tour that also included two additional schools in North London. These visits are part of a strategic effort to secure the best education for her son, who currently attends a prestigious prep school along with his younger siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
In addition to these institutions, there is speculation that the Wales family is considering some of the most well-known and historically significant schools in the UK. One of the prominent options reportedly under consideration is Eton College, the same school attended by both Prince William and his estranged brother, Prince Harry. Eton has long been a popular choice for royals, politicians, and the aristocracy, making it a logical option for the young prince’s future.
While the couple has not yet made a final decision on where George will go next, sources indicate that the Wales family is also exploring schools that are located outside of the immediate London and Windsor areas. This shift in focus could suggest that the family is looking for an environment that allows for a more balanced and less publicized education, away from the heavy scrutiny often associated with major city institutions.

In September, George took his first flying lesson at the White Waltham Airfield, located approximately 30 miles outside of London. Reports indicate that George thoroughly enjoyed the experience, marking a significant step in his budding interest in flying. His parents, Prince William and Kate, watched proudly from the ground as George took off with an instructor, successfully landing an hour later.
This early interest in aviation is not entirely unexpected, as George’s father, Prince William, is a trained helicopter pilot and has completed several Search and Rescue missions with the Royal Air Force. His grandfather, the late Prince Philip, was also involved in aviation, beginning his training at the age of 31. William and his brother, Prince Harry, were both part of the Army Cadet Corps at Eton College, but it wasn’t until their military service that they began formal flying training.
While George’s flying lessons may seem unconventional for a young royal, they align with the family’s legacy of engagement with aviation. However, as of now, George’s lessons do not count toward obtaining a pilot’s license, as aspiring pilots must be at least 14 years old for their flight hours to count toward licensure.
As for the future of his education, Prince George’s journey is far from ordinary. As he transitions to a new school, the Wales family is likely to keep the details of their decision under wraps until the final selection is made.
